Dextor Foster Signs With South Carolina State University

HIALEAH, FL. - ASA Miami head basketball coach Jean Dubuisson was able to pull 6'5" point guard Dextor Foster from his hometown of Columbia, South Carolina back in 2015. The South Carolina native started 59 games for the Silver Storm during his two years here and sits atop many statistical categories for the Silver Storm. Foster is the schools all-time leader in points (574), assists (197) and steals (82). On January 10th, 2017, Foster recorded the school's first and only triple-double against Miami Dade College in a 120-112 victory.

After graduating from ASA College with an associates degree in Business Administration, Foster will go back to his home state and be about an hour away from home after signing with South Carolina State University. He is set to begin his career with the Bulldogs during the 2017 Fall semester, with their season starting on November 10, 2017 on the road against the University of Wisconsin.

"Dextor has so much potential. The sky is the limit with him as a long, rangy 6'5" point guard. I am very happy and proud to see him be able to continue his basketball and academic career with South Carolina State University." Coach Dubuisson said.
