In the season finale for ASA Miami Hoops, the Silver Storm went on the road Tuesday night to take on Palm Beach College, but couldn't come home with the victory. ASA made things tough on themselves after trailing 54-34 in the first half. Palm Beach clinched the second spot as the Southern Conference runner-up. Indian River is the 2018 champion.

In what has already been a special season for ASA Miami sophomore Anthony Gomes, only became even more special on Tuesday night after Gomes scored 39 points. That breaks the program record for most points in a game previously held by Raven Owen JR. (34). That is also the second most points scored by a player in the state of Florida during the 2017-2018 season. The Kissimmee, Florida native has reached 20 points in a game this season in 14-of-the-26 games he's played in.
